SHT and PAG Policy

CARTUCHOS SULBEJA, LDA and its management acknowledge that Occupational Health and Safety, as well as Environmental Protection, are critical and emerging aspects in the ongoing development of their activities. As such, the organisation sets out the following objectives to ensure the safety and health of its personnel and the environmental well-being of the surrounding community:

• • Enforce strict compliance with all applicable laws, standards, and regulations;
  • Establish a goal of “zero occupational accidents” and “zero environmental incidents”;
  • Promote continuous awareness, training, and information for all employees through induction sessions, awareness campaigns, and specialised training, encouraging their active involvement in the ongoing improvement of Occupational Health and Safety and in the Prevention of Major Accident Hazards;
  • Ensure the adequacy of individual and collective protective equipment for the performance of various tasks, as well as the development and maintenance of healthy environmental conditions for the entire surrounding community;
  • Guarantee continuous identification and assessment of risk factors at all stages of the organisation’s operations;
  • Ensure that this policy is communicated effectively to all stakeholders.
